AyurVita began with family matriarch and brand visionary Prabha Golia and her childhood experiences in Jodhpur, India. Known as “The Blue City,” it was there that she was exposed to natural ingredients as well as sights and scents of the Ayurvedic culture.

Many years later, after moving to the United States, she saw changes in the condition of her and her family’s hair. It was in her kitchen that she decided to create by hand the treatments that now are AyurVita products, all inspired by the ingredients and traditions that were an influential part of her childhood.

Prabha believes in, and passed along that celebrating beauty means celebrating yourself and your loved ones. The next generation of the Golia family continues to support these beliefs, healthy practices and recipes, as well as treasured traditions. They expand their ancestral heritage as it lives within AyurVita Haircare.

THE AYURVEDIC PHILOSOPHY OF AYURVITA

An Ayurvedic inspired lifestyle means to live well and to prevent mental and physical problems. In this philosophy, what a person puts in and on your body affects all aspects of life: nutrition, lifestyle, personal care products.

This is the basis of AyurVita. The name is inspired by this sound philosophy. We can make ourselves better through the use of what what is naturally all around us.

We partner with Veerayatan International, a global charitable organization that guides, empowers and inspires others to live a dignified life by helping local communities via charitable efforts and projects including building education and healthcare centers and much more.

Ten percent of sales will go directly to this organization where it can be utilized as needed most.
